*“상황을 봐서 결정합시다. 나를 데려가 주세요”
저는 신앙심이 깊지 못하지만 가끔 성경구절 인용하기를 즐깁니다.
마태복음에 이런 구절이 나오죠.
“Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own."(Matthew 6:34)
해석하면, ‘그러므로 내일 일을 걱정하지 말라. 내일 일은 내일이 걱정할 것이다. 하루의 괴로움은 그 날에 족하다.’
즉, 내일에 대한 걱정을 미리 하지 말고 오늘의 일(문제)에 집중하자는 메시지입니다.
오늘은 ‘미리 걱정하지 말자’는 등의 표현을 정리합니다.
1.“What if the meeting gets delayed?”
(회의가 지연되면 어쩌죠?)
“Let's cross that bridge when we get to it”
(그건 그때 가서 생각/ 대처합시다)
2,“Do you think they'll ask us to work overtime?”
(그들이 우리보고 야근하라고 할까요?)

(비가 오면 어떻게 할 겁니까?)
“We'll play it by ear, see how it goes”
(그때 상황을 보아가며 결정하지요)

(우리는 발표할 준비됐습니까?)
“We'll see when the time comes”
(그때 가서 봐야지요)
6,“What if the customer doesn't like the product?”
(고객이 제품을 마음에 안 들어하면 어쩌지요?)
